Day 1

Arrival to Azores

Reception at the airport and transfer to hotel.
Check-in, dinner and overnight

Day 2

Ponta Delgada City Tour

Breakfast. City tour to the city main center: cobble streets and small squares, where there is also a large square used as a meeting point every evening. Visit to the gardens of Antonio Borges and Sena Freitas, the church São José, Gonçalo Velho Square, etc.
Lunch in a local restaurant and afternoon free for personal activities. At the end of the day, dinner at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 3

Lagoa do Fogo & Sete Cidades

Breakfast. Full day tour: visit Vieira Ceramics Factory, then, we will head towards Lagoa do Fogo with a stop to overlook the lagoon. At Caldeira Velha, opportunity to swim in a pool of thermal water. At Ribeira Grande we'll visit a regional liqueur factory "Mulher do Capote." Lunch at Cidade da Lagoa in local restaurant. After lunch visit the Greenhouses Pineapples Augusto Arruda and Sete Cidades. Brief stop at Miradouro Vista do Rei, to get a wonderful panorama view of the Sete Cidades lagoon.
Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Whale & Dolphins Watching

Breakfast. This activity will start by morning after explaining the tour and a safety briefing. In the Azores we can see more than 20 different types of cetaceans in the blue Atlantic becoming even more spectacular around the nine islands.
Lunch at Ponta Delgada. Afternoon free. Dinner at the hotel and overnight.

Day 5

Furnas

After breakfast, departure to Vila das Furnas, with a brief stop on a 'Miradouro' to see the Lagoa das Furnas. Visit to Terra Nostra Park, a botanical garden of rare beauty. Free time to swim in a thermal pool (if the weather allows). Stop at Lagoa, to see the famous "Cozinho das Furnas' being cooked for about 5 hours in the in the ground. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit to the boilers area with mineral waters tasting. Departure to the Tea Factory Gorreana to learn about the process of tea production. Return to Ponta Delgada making the last stop in Miradouro de Santa Iria. Dinner at the hotel and overnight.

Day 6

Nordeste

Breakfast. Tour to the northeast side of this island, which is its best kept secret. Visit to the Ribeira dos Caldeirões cascade followed by a brief stop at Vila da Povoação. Visit to the tourist spots of Ponta da Madrugada, Ponta do Sossego and Ponta do Arnel. Return to Ponta Delgada along the south coast making a brief stop at Vila Franca do Campo and Miradouro de N. Sra. da Paz with wonderful views of the Vila Franca and its islet.
Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 7

Walking Tour Rocha da Selva

Breakfast. The tour starts at 9am in Relva location and will cross Rocha do Cascalho descending finally to Rocha da Selva. Here you can see the large number of wineries, a result of the microclimate that favors the vines, fig trees and vegetables. Lunch at local restaurant on the way back.
Afternoon free. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8

Departure

Depending on the flight schedule, transfer to the airport.
